Carmen Island has an important Desert Bighorn Sheep reproduction program that has been carried out since 1995. Its purpose is to increase the existing populations of weemsi subspecies in the State of Baja California Sur. Thanks to this program and its success, now you can enjoy an exciting hunt to obtain one of the most covered trophies worldwide: Desert Bighorn Sheep.

Besides our Desert Bighorn Sheep, we also provide excellent fishing trips within the pristine waters of Sea of Cortez; which is known worldwide as a paradise for deep sea fishing.

Sea of Cortez offers a great number of species such as Dorado, Sailfish, Marlin and Yellow Fin Tuna.

This island is the natural home environment for great weemsi desert bighorn sheep, and other minor native fauna to the island. Within the surrounding waters of beautiful Sea of Cortez, it is possible to admire marine mammals like the blue whale, Bryde’s whale, sperm whale, California sea lion; and other incredible marine fauna associated with corals in coastal areas of Carmen Island in Baja California Sur.
